The IRN-BRU Carnival ‘spins’ back into Glasgow

To celebrate the rides big return, Santa and elves faced the force of the wall - the equivalent to three times that of gravity - and were levitated into the air as the floor beneath their feet disappeared. Testing the show’s best loved attraction before visitors flood the doors on opening night, Santa gave the ride his festive seal of approval.

Celebrating 96 years of family fun, The IRN-BRU Carnival is a Glasgow institution with over 65 rides and attractions. New rides for this year also include - ‘King Loops’ and ‘Superbowl’ for the thrill-seekers, along with the ‘Ice Mirror Maze’ for kids.

There are family favourites such as the dodgems, carousel and waltzers. Also back by popular demand for a second year is the Inflatable Play Area, where kids can bounce until their hearts are content.

Whether it’s the sea of colour and flashing lights, sweet scent of candy floss or the pure excitement and thrill of the rides, there is something for all ages.

The IRN-BRU Carnival will run at the SECC from Wednesday 21 December 2016 - Sunday 15 January 2017*. As a festive-season ‘must do’, make sure to book your tickets in advance** for easy entry into the hall.
