Hundreds of people are expected to enjoy a taste of luxury this weekend, indulging in a celebration of Edinburgh’s architecture, culture and heritage as part of the annual Doors Open Day.
From 11am-4pm, Assembly Rooms will welcome locals and visitors alike to peek behind the scenes of the exceptional events venue.
Shona Clelland, General Manager of Assembly Rooms said: “With unprecedented access to some of Edinburgh’s most-loved venues, Doors Open Day is a great opportunity for those with an appetite for exploring.
“Our knowledgeable team will be hosting a series of tours over the course of the day, telling the story of the Assembly Rooms’ unique heritage and showcasing the beautiful chandeliers, painstakingly restored Coade stone statues and ornate plasterwork which make our setting so unique.”
