Atos Lends a Helping Hand at The Oaks

Employees from Atos’ office in Forres voted The Oaks as one of the charities they will support  in a number of different ways over the next few years and to kick start the activity, a team of six business technologists worked together to help tidy up the garden at the facility.

Mairi McFadden, Information Support Nurse at The Oaks said: “We at the Oaks are delighted Atos has chosen us as one of their charities, and are very grateful for their support. We appreciate the staff giving their time to work in the gardens and also for the generous donations we have received."

Owen O’Donohue, Head of Moray Development and Innovation Centre at Atos said: “At Atos, we pride ourselves on our strong track record of working with the local community on projects like the one at The Oaks.  We feel it is really important that we give something back and the centre is so vital to the people of Moray who are affected by cancer that we want to help in any way we can.

“The Oaks will be our charity partner until March 2018, and we are looking forward to working with them in a number of different ways throughout this period, offering as much support as possible as well as fundraising for the centre.”

Atos in Scotland also supports other corporate charities such as Maggie’s, Macmillan Cancer Support, and The Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
