3x1 Announces Expansion Hat Trick
Bread managing director, Louise Nicolson joins the 3x1 board with immediate effect. The north east business has over 10 employees servicing oil & gas, corporate and consumer clients including Statoil, Step Change, Ledingham Chalmers, International SOS, CHC Helicopter and 3M Energy Markets. It will continue to trade, business as usual, under the existing Bread brand while drawing on the additional specialist public affairs, digital, media and crisis training services of 3x1 Group.
Louise Nicolson said: “The Bread team has worked hard over the past six years to build something special and we’re exceptionally proud to join this dynamic group. We look forward to pooling our talents to deliver the very best for our clients.”
Susie Fraser is heading up the six-strong Parlez Digital team located between 3x1’s Glasgow, Edinburgh and London offices offering social media and strategic content management across the Group. Parlez clients include Cameron House Hotel and Resort, Hilton Glasgow, Ideal Home Show Scotland, Cake and Bake, Great British Bake off Live and retailTRUST.
With a substantial UK-wide client portfolio, 3x1’s new London office will service the increasing diversity and geographical reach of the Group’s client base to enable further growth and access to new markets.
Cameron Grant, co-founder of 3x1 Public Relations said: “The Group’s total complement of staff will increase to 30 with turnover expected to approach £3 million. More importantly, income is on course to exceed £2 million in 2015 for the first time since the business was founded in 2001.
“We’ve been looking closely at the Aberdeen market for the last few years and having worked informally with Bread for some time we believe this is a good time to formalise our arrangement as they are best-in-class in the north east.
“2016 should see further income generation due to both organic and fee growth as a result of the integration of the new services and divisions. Further acquisitions are also being considered to further enhance 3x1 Group’s footprint.”
