We’re looking for a corporate account director to manage a portfolio of B2B clients from sectors including renewables, aquaculture and transport, all underpinned by a firm commitment to sustainability. You may already be working in a similar AD role or as an ambitious senior account manger ready to take the next step up in your career.
This role can be based in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office. We're currently hybrid working (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office, Tuesday and Friday at home).

This role will include:
- Planning, directing and delivering creative, effective communications strategies that build our clients’ reputations and establish them as experts in their field
- Overseeing and ensuring consistent quality of work from account teams and specialists across PR, public affairs, digital marketing and content to successfully deliver these communications strategies
- Providing senior counsel to clients, advising on issues, identifying opportunities and threats and generating ideas
- Managing, motivating and developing account teams
- Building strong client relationships and facilitating organic client growth
- Leading new business proposals to grow fee income
- Evaluating activity using the best practice AMEC framework
- Budgeting and financial accountability
We are looking for someone with:
- Creativity and a passion for current affairs
- Around eight years PR experience, agency experience essential
- A strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles
- Experience in similar sectors preferable
- A solid media network
- Confidence in providing advice and support across multiple client accounts
- Excellent communications skills and ability to build client and team relationships at all levels
- Problem solving ability and track record of producing creative solutions
- Experience in preparing new business proposals/tenders
- Commercial acumen
- An eye for detail and quality control
