Are you passionate about politics and want to kick off your career in a friendly, dynamic team? This position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate or someone with a little experience to learn and progress in an award-winning agency.

This role can be based in our Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen offices. We are currently hybrid working (3 days/week in the office, 2 days/week at home).

This role will include:

• Monitoring the political landscape to give updates and insights to clients
• Producing succinct reports summarising the week in politics
• Preparing briefings with useful insight ahead of stakeholder meetings
• Identifying policy developments that may impact on our clients’ sector/organisations
• Supporting public affairs client teams with research and account administration
• Delivering stakeholder and community engagement campaigns to support client planning applications

We are looking for someone with:

• A real passion for politics
• An understanding of the structure and roles of Holyrood and Westminster
• Strong copywriting skills and good attention to detail
• A can do mindset who shows good initiative
• Some work experience in a political/policy role - this would be beneficial but is not essential
